Zoup! Eatery Franchise Leadership & Support Team
Founder & CEO
Eric started Zoup! in 1998 and has grown from restaurant owner to CEO and Visionary. From 1994 to 2000, he was an owner of Michigan Foods, which manufactured and distributed custom spice blends, pre-mixed and prepared soups to chain restaurants. Eric is responsible for strategic planning, concept and menu evolution, and vision for the Zoup! brand and culture.
President & COO
Jason joined Zoup! in early 2018. From 2013 to 2018, he was VP of Operations at Cousins Subs Corporate, a Wisconsin-based fast-casual restaurant franchise. Prior to joining Cousins Subs Corporate, Jason led his family's multi-unit franchise system. Through these roles, Jason has gained a deep understanding of being a franchisor and a franchisee.
Chief Technology Officer
Ed joined Zoup! in 2015. From 2008 to 2015, he was the IT Director for Austin Benefits Group. From 1998 to 2008, Ed worked for Crosswinds Communities in several technology roles, including VP of Information Technology. Ed is responsible for the overall vision, development and implementation of Zoup! technology.
VP of Marketing
Nora joined Zoup! in April of 2021. Before joining Zoup! She was a VP, Group Account Director on the Coca-Cola Company's business at Merkle in Southfield, MI. Before that Nora was VP, Account Management on the McDonald's business at Leo Burnett in Chicago, IL from 2012 to 2015. She is responsible for leading the Marketing efforts for both the Brand and Franchise.
Director of Franchise Development & Real Estate
Richard joined Zoup! in 2006. Richard has been a licensed commercial real estate agent since 2002 and assists Zoup! Franchise Owners in the franchise qualification process and local market site selection.
Director of Design & Construction
Robert has been Director of Design & Construction since January 2009. He has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSA) from Lawrence Technological University. Robert manages and assists the Franchisees through the Z!Track process; pre-opening, store design, FF&E, construction, and final open steps.
Vice President of Operations & Training
Tyler joined Zoup! in 2021 after 20+ years in operations management in the specialty coffee world. His experience ranges from industry leaders like Starbucks & Nespresso to growing start-ups such as Roasting Plant Coffee, and most recently, New Order Coffee Roasters, where he served as COO from 2016 to 2021.
